Virtual Candlelit Restorative & Yoga Nidra Wednesday, April 8th at 6:30pm Cathy Hendricks $10 Join us for an online, 60-minute restorative practice w/yoga nidra. Restorative yoga is best described as a supported, conscious mind/body relaxation practice. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to relax deeply and nourish the body by doing longer holds in poses. Restorative yoga is for all levels. Anyone can do it! It is the perfect way to release life stress and anxiety during these turbulent times. Feel free to gather some of the following things around your house to create props: 1. Eye Pillow (something around the house that could work would be a sock loosely filled with rice or dried peas ...something to add a little weight to cover the eyes, or a simple wash cloth folded over eyes.) 2. Bolster (any shape) or (2 blankets rolled up, body pillow, a couple of pillows belted/tied together...get creative!) 3. A Yoga Mat or Large Blanket 4. Two Additional Blankets 5. Optional, Candles!
