Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to find parking, register and get ready for class.
You’re welcome to bring a yoga mat if you have one. If not, rental mats are only $2 and free for members!
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated! We also sell water for $1.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
I'M NOT FLEXIBLE! CAN I REALLY DO YOGA? We’ve got pose variations for bodies of all flexibilities, and blocks, straps, and bolsters to make poses more accessible. If you practice regularly, you WILL get more flexible over time!
I’M NEW TO YOGA, WHAT CLASSES SHOULD I TAKE? It’s best to start in our Begin, Restore, or Ground classes. Our teachers are experienced with students of all abilities. We recommend setting your mat up in the middle of the room so you can look around at the other students in class and follow their lead. Find all of our class types here!
ARE ALL THE CLASSES HEATED? Currently all classes are heated to 90 degrees during the cold winter months.
WHY HOT YOGA? Yoga in a heated room helps with detoxification, lung capacity, stress, strength, and aids in weight-loss! We use a brand-new state-of-the-art heating system, which helps create a detoxifying sweat that stimulates blood circulation and increases flexibility.
HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I GIVE MYSELF BEFORE CLASS TO ARRIVE? We would love for you to arrive 15 minutes before class to check in, set up your mat, talk with the instructor if need be and prepare yourself for practice. It also gives you time to meet our other #lakeshoreyogis. Trust us, there are amazing people in our community!
WHAT ARE MEMBERSHIPS? Membership is our way of making yoga available to all. These are our most affordable payment options. We even give a discount to students and year long commitments!
DO YOU ALLOW DROP-INS? We allow drop-ins at every weekly class we offer! If you would like to speed up the check in process, feel free to sign up online.
CAN I SHARE PASSES? While we want you to share yoga with your loved ones, class passes are non-transferable. Thank you for understanding!
WHAT DO I WEAR? Comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. No shoes or socks needed. Extra points if you wear Waves swag. WHAT DO I BRING? We have everything you need to practice yoga! Many practitioners prefer to use their own mats, but we have some manduka yoga mats at the studio for you to use for only $2. We provide all of the props (blankets, blocks, straps, towels) you may need and offer bottled water too.
IS IT SAFE TO PRACTICE EVERYDAY? Yes; but, listen to your own body! As you practice, you will develop body awareness. If you need a day in between to rest and recover from class, take that self-care day!
WHERE DO I PARK? We are located in the same building as Tapped on the Lakeshore on Memorial Drive in Two Rivers. If you are coming north bound, you will need to make a U-TURN right after you pass Tapped. If you are coming south bound, take a right into Tapped's parking lot. We have a separate entrance on the south side of the building. We share a large parking lot with Tapped, feel free to park anywhere! The evening time can be busier; if there isn't room to park, our neighbor Phoenix Behavioral Health has a parking lot located behind their building that they graciously offered to us if our lot is full!
